The greatest love ever showed was on the cross. It was a great example, unconditional and forever unsurpassed. Such love that no man could fathom, was lavished on the cross by a Man for people that knew Him not in order to draw them out of deep ocean of ungodliness. It is a sterling example of the quality of love Christians are expected to share in their community. It should form a major part of every Christians life.

From today's scripture, it is evident that only this type of love can spur believers to reach out to others in deed and truth. This is to be manifested in many ways:

1⃣ EVANGELISM:- preaching christ to the unsaved so that they may turn from their ungodly ways and embrace the love and life of Christ and escape hell.

2⃣ PRAYERS:- praying for those that have broken away from the fold (backslidden ) instead of condemning them.

3⃣ CARING:- caring for one another, especially the less privileged like the orphans, the sick, prisoners etc.

4⃣ SHARING:- sharing what we have with those that have not, thereby covering one another's nakedness.

Anyone that claims he loves but does not reach out to others does not actually know God. Love must be practical as Jesus did on the cross. If you have not been loving others as you expect to be loved, begin today. Do it in your own best way. Look out for someone you can show the love of God today.

馃帤 *CONTROLLING THOUGHTS*

Love is practical. Dream it. Speak it. Walk it. Share it.

馃檹馃徑 *PRAYER*
Oh Lord, help me to love others even as I expect to be loved. Amen.

ACCUSATIONS THAT DRAW HEAVENS ATTENTION*

馃枈 *MESSAGE*

From our text you will notice that there was a charge against the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and the accusations were so strong that heaven had to detail a three-man delegation to find out how true those grievous charges were. The leader of that delegation was The Angel of the Lord (the pre-incarnate Christ) and incidentally they stopped over at Abraham's house on this search journey. But most unfortunately, they experienced first-hand that those accusations were not mere witch-hunt.

Without doubts, Satan has been described as the accuser of the
brethren, who accuses them before God day and night (Rev 12:10).
We know that some accusations are nothing but cheap blackmail. But now if Satan were to get a hint of God's intentions concerning your promotion, healing, financial miracles and open doors, what possible charges can he boldly forward against you and how true could they be?

  • He brought charges against Job but they all proved to be mere allegations. All the accusations he and his cronies leveled againsto ur Lord Jesus were unfounded. But what can be said in our own case? Whatever the outcome may be, the assurance of God's Word today is that a fountain has been opened in Zion for cleansing (Zech.13:1). And the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all

unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Two things are required of us today.
First, is to receive the forgiveness and cleansing that Jesus offers when we confess our sins and the second is to stand up and intercede for our brethren against whom there are written ordinances and Satanic charges. Let's intercede for them as Abraham did, perhaps we could save a Lot.

馃帤 *CONTROLLING THOUGHTS*

Every charge against God's elect can be nullified through the power of contrition and confession.

馃檹馃徑 *PRAYER*
Lord, grant me the sincerity of heart to address every satanic accusations against me.
